What we do
We are a friendly group of Minnesota humans and animals that come to you for birthday parties, office parties, weddings, grand openings, special events, etc. Our gentle farm animals are specially raised and socialized to interact with children, teens and adults. Happy Tails Mobile Petting Zoo in Saint Paul, Minneapolis and surrounding metro areas.

We take pride in our animals and consider them our family! We are fully insured and USDA licensed.

Menu / Price List
Small Zoo
Chickens, ducks and rabbits. We may also bring rats, ferrets, python, leopard gecko and bearded dragons* in the warmer weather months. *(depending on animal availibility)
2 Hours ($100 each additional hour)
Medium Zoo
Everything included with the small zoo + goats and sheep.
2 Hours ($100 each additional hour)
Large Zoo
Everything included with the small and medium zoos + mini donkeys, mini ponies, llama and potbelly pig(s)**.
2 Hours ($125 each additional hour)
Miscellaneous Information!
*Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure a booking. Happy Tails Mobile Petting Zoo accepts personal checks, business checks, cash and Pay Pal. All prices are subject to change.
We make every attempt to bring all the animals requested but sometimes due to availability and being "under the weather", not all animals can make their appearance.
Potbelly Pig Information
If you would like potbelly pigs at your event, please keep in mind that they love to root (dig with their snouts) which is a natural behavior. Sometimes this rooting causes holes in the ground unless kept on a hard surface.
Permits May Be Required!
The City of Minneapolis requires a permit for our Medium & Large Zoos ranging from $80 for a private event to $205 for a public event. The City of St. Paul requires a permit for animal exhibition in city parks and pavilions.
Fee For Indoor Petting Zoos
An additional fee of $50 will be added for all indoor petting zoos. Happy Tails Mobile Petting Zoo will provide fencing, tarps and shavings for these events. It will be our responsibility to clean up the shavings after the event. Vacuuming will be the responsibility of the site's owner.
Trip fee of $1.00 per mile R/T from Scandia, MN
A ROUND TRIP fee will be added to your final payment on all sizes of zoos as calculated by Google Maps from our farm in Scandia, MN

Space & Set-Up Requirements
Requirements
- 40' X 40' area for large zoos
- Grassy area preferred
- Shade if available
- 70' of parking must be available close by for a truck and horse trailer
- Tents will be provided for sunny areas
- Water source (for all-day events)
Privacy Policy
Happy Tails Mobile Petting Zoo reserves the right to cancel appointments and scheduled times due to inclement weather including severe heat/snow which may put the animal's health at risk. Happy Tails Mobile Petting Zoo does not loan or rent our animals out to the public. Staff will always be in attendance with our animals.
